Delight in the aromas and deep flavors of our delicate handmade buckwheat soba noodles and crisp, light tempura featuring only the freshest of Miyakojima’s seafood and locally grown produce. Saikai takes pride in using only the highest quality buckwheat selected from Japan’s best producers, including those found on the island, and mills the flour onsite to provide patrons with a truly traditional Japanese culinary experience.

A fine selection of sake, shochu and Okinawa’s local awamori are also available and pair nicely with the restaurant favorite—Kuruma prawn tempura.
